Tiffany,
I hope this finds you well. My name is Carter Hill — I've been staying at your property for a while now, and I wanted to take a moment to reach out personally.
I'll be honest with you. The last couple of years have been the hardest of my life. I lost my sister. Then my father. Then my mother — she passed in hospice just recently. My son was in a serious car accident on Christmas Eve, totaled my BMW 750, and nearly didn't make it. And in the middle of all of that, I was wrongfully evicted from my home — lost my living situation overnight. That's how I ended up here.
Your property and your staff have been a steady place during an incredibly unsteady time, and I'm genuinely grateful for that.
I'm writing because I'd like to ask if there's anything we can do for each other.
A little about me:
I'm the CEO and Founder of Day 7 — a public benefit corporation building something called Genesis. Genesis is one of the most powerful private AI systems in the world. We run eight NVIDIA H200 GPUs, over five million lines of code, and an AI that can analyze, reason, and solve problems across virtually any domain.
The biggest technology companies on earth have looked at what we're building and backed us — just in the last few months:
$507,800 confirmed. Not loans. Not investments. The largest names in technology reviewed what we're building and said yes.
I share this not to impress you — but so you know who's been staying at your hotel. I'm someone who solves problems for a living, and I happen to be right here.
What I'd like to propose:
I'll be straightforward. I'm in between funding rounds and I'm in a bit of a pickle. I could use a bridge — some help with my rent while I get to the other side of this. Whether that's covering the time I was away, an adjusted rate, or some kind of arrangement — I'm open to whatever makes sense for both of us.
What I can offer in return is something most people couldn't pay for. I built Genesis. It's mine. And the problems I solve with it every day — across finance, operations, marketing, competitive intelligence, you name it — are the same problems every business faces. I can sit down with you for an hour and show you things about your properties, your market, and your opportunities that no consultant would find in a month. That's not an exaggeration. It's what I do.
I'm not asking you to buy anything. I'm just asking for a little help from someone I respect, during a hard season. And what I can give back is genuinely invaluable — the kind of insight and capability that very few people in the world will have access to once we're fully operational. I'd love for one of those people to be someone who showed me kindness when I needed it most.
I'm right here whenever you'd like to talk.
With respect and real gratitude,
Carter Hill
